If you have hiked some of the trails, and fished some of the lakes, and are looking for something different, why not try a canoe trek? From just paddling around the lake to a full journey, the region offers many possibilities. Nechako Lodge has licensed instructors at hand who can assist the beginner or the most advanced canoeist.

For the truly adventurous, consider the trek along the Upper Nechako River. From the lodge to Prince George would require 7-8 days. Perhaps you would be more interested in following the chain of lakes that stretch for over 300 kilometers from Eutsuk Lake to Knewstubb Lake. The mountains, the forests, the wide vistas of blue sky and water will be something that you will never forget. Does that sound intriguing to you? But how would you get there? Nechako Lodge and Aviation Ltd can take care of all that for you. Using our floatplane, we will ferry you, your canoe, and all supplies to your departure point. We can arrange for supply and safety checkups too. This would be quite an adventurous undertaking, and would require experience in wilderness canoeing. Many shorter trips are also available, and very worthwhile.
